Pastor Clarence and Lady DeeDee came by for a family portrait after seeing our Tallahassee Mall display in front of AMC20 theater. I really love this one. The look of their youngest son is priceless. He's saying I am the center of attention. I am the "Prince" of this family.

Let's Get Married!!!

I just finished photographing James, Mr. Image Makers, and Ms. Eula a few hours ago. They will be tying the knot on the 23rd of this month. Mr. James has been my barber since 1988 and I must say he's been someone I could talk to about anything. I'm happy to see that he has found Mrs. Image maker. I hate that I want be able to attend the wedding due to a conference I got to go to in Houston but I will leave a piece of me on display at the reception for their guest to see.

We had so much fun and laughter during the session. They really cracked me up. I chose this image because I love images that speak to me and this image really does.
It says, "Pinch Me Again"!!!!

James may God richly bless your soon to be marriage to Ms. Eula.

Can't Wait

I created this beautiful image of Shannon, Imani, and Anthony a couple of days ago. We had so much fun during their session. As I was photographing Anthony and Imani, Shannon became jealous and could not wait until her turn. I decided to keep her in suspense until she comes to the studio to see the rest of the images.

The image I chose was of all of them. I love to create images that evoke emotions and this image certainly does. Imani is telling us, the viewers, that I am a little shy but I'm safe and secure. So I named the image "Safe and Secure".

A Gift from God

Lorenzo and Toya became a part of our photographic family is 1999 when we photographed their wedding in Atlanta, Georgia. We had a awesome time creating and capturing their images. It was their wedding in Atlanta that really launched our wedding business to where it is now. I consider Lorenzo and Toya not only as clients but friends. Lorenzo or "Rem" as we call him will do anything he can for you and his word is his bond. If he said he will be there, he will be there.

God has now added to their life a handsome son. This beautiful image of Lorenzo, Toya, and their son Landon is so powerful. It speaks security, thankfulness, and Love. Landon is truly blessed to have parents as humble as Lorenzo and Toya and he will reap the blessings of their love for God. I speak Pslams 115:14 almost everyday over my family and I now speak this scripture over Lorenzo's family: "May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children."

I also would like to mention that Lorenzo and Toya are the owners of Smokin Lo's Catering. They are located at 926 West Tharpe just before Old Bainbridge road. Stop in and get some of his tasty bar-b-que and tell them David sent you!!! My favorite is the fried catfish.

The Lewis Family

I always have a great time photographing Faye, Kimmie, Kayla, and Kierra. They are such a beautiful family. I love the chubby cheeks of little Kayla. Faye and Kierra are always full of happiness and Kimmie has always been the strong silent type but he has always been there with his family.

May God continue to prosper this family in all that they do.

Wedding Elegance - Janele & Daniel

We had an awesome time capturing the special moments at the wedding of Janele and Daniel. The wedding occurred during the Christmas weekend in the festive town of Florida's capital city, Tallahassee. Janele is extremely close to her father, Joe Bullard. Her father loves creating themes, so Janele shared with us the theme song Joe chose for he and Carolyn's wedding. The theme song was "Stairway to Heaven". We were excited to have an opportunity to capture and created a piece of art with Janele's parent theme. This image was created with the that song in mind. I think we captured it in grandeur.

This is an email we received from Janele today:
Mr. Eggleston,
I am so happy that the Lord allowed our paths to meet. You are a man with many and GREAT talents and most importantly you are a man of God. I pray that the Lord continues to bless you and your family exceedingly and more abundantly as the years come and go. Thank you for taking each of our own individual beauties and enhancing them into stellar excellence!

Kerri's heart felt response

Family is extremely important to us. We perceive every family that we photograph as if they were our very own. The Lamar Family had not been photographed in some time so we were extremely proud and honored that they selected us as their photographer. We really enjoyed creating beautiful images of Mr. Lamar and his family. He and his wife have done a wonderful job in raising three God devoted children. We wanted to created an art piece that shall be treasured for years to come. We were blessed because we created several pieces for the Lamar family.

The following words were written by Mr. Lamar's daughter, Kerri: "This image fills me with a sense of safety and love. Just in viewing, I can feel my family's love embracing me. I am thankful to God for the gift that he has given Mr. Eggleston."

A Fashion Flair Wedding - Zena & Dorian

Zena and Dorian had a beautiful wedding.
Okay, what can I say... We had a blast from the Ramada to the church to the capital and back to the Ramada. The bridal party was full of excitement as you can tell from the fun images that Mr. Eggleston captured at the reception. I don't want to leave out the bride and groom they brought the "funk" when Mr. Eggleston photographed them together. These young folks really enjoyed themselves. It made me want to go back to Goodwill and retreive my dress that I donated many years ago and dance with his camera, too. Immediately after the wedding the bride and groom set out to relocated from the small warm nestle of T-town to the big city life in Tampa.

Sharon Gosha, the planner for this event, did a magnificent job. Kudos goes out to Margo of Margo's Balloons, Baskets and Florals for the wonderful job she did at the church.

Thanks Zena and Dorian for letting us be a part of your beautiful day and for voting us the world's greatest photographers!!! We receive that word in the name of Jesus:)

Hey guys just wanted to share a lovely book that Mr. Eggleston designed for this very special couple. Their names are Robin and Octavius. They had their home built and furnished just prior to their wedding. Those that know Mr. Eggleston know that he photograph the bride, Robin, in the comfort of their new home!! Their home is immaculate. Yes, this young couple have their heads on straight. Guys, they are extremely funny and love to have a good time-in the Lord. Robin has a favorite saying, now say this with me while you read it, oh kaaay. That was it okay, okay. Okay, here is an image from their incredible wedding or as so many have termed it "W.O.C."
